Communication Skills
The Simitri Communication Skills Workshop provides participants with the skills,
techniques and confidence to communicate in different situations, at different levels of an
organisation and to different styles of stakeholders within their workplace.
During the workshop, we spend time understanding and practising the three key pillars of
communication – listening, questioning and presenting. By having a better
understanding of their own communication styles, as well as that of the person they are
trying to communicate with, participants will be more productive and efficient in the
workplace.
By understanding the value of communication and how to communicate face-to-face,
during meetings, on the phone and through emails, participants will be in a better position
to achieve their goals and objectives.

Communicate more effectively to multiple levels within the organisation
Communicate more efficiently through multiple channels
Comprehend their communication styles and strengths
Adapt their styles based on their stakeholder, the topic and the situation

How is the workshop customised to your needs?
Simitri takes a number of steps to ensure the workshop meets the needs of your
organisation, your team and the individuals.
The Facilitator works with your management team to understand the specific
issues facing your business.
The Facilitator speaks with each participant to understand his or her background,
needs and objectives.
The Participants complete a questionnaire creating a case study that they will use
during the workshop for role-plays and exercises.
Through these pre-workshop activities, the course becomes more relevant to the
participants, resulting in a higher ‘absorption’ level and ensuring immediate use of their
new skills in the workplace.
